Summary
The City of Bellevue is embarking on an exciting set of projects that will bring two new fire stations online in support of our community.  Fire Station 10, set to begin construction in 2021 on the 1200 block of 112th Avenue Northeast, will help the city close a growing gap in service by improving response times for fire and medical emergencies. Downtown has been Bellevue's fastest growing residential neighborhood for more than a decade, with the population expected to nearly triple from 7,147 in 2010 to 19,000 in 2030. Bellevue's employment base, with the highest concentration of workers downtown, is also projected to grow from 42,525 employees in 2010 to an estimated 70,300 by 2030. BelRed, northeast of downtown, is also growing, with transit-oriented development drawing people and businesses there.  The areas of downtown and BelRed represent 70 percent of the projected population growth for Bellevue.

In conjunction with Fires Station 10, this role will be supporting Fire Station 5 design and development, moving to construction in 2022.

This senior position will help in realizing these critical projects in conjunction with other city staff and will drive all aspects of the project implementation.  Your experience in delivering projects of this type, and ability to work with all levels of leadership, community and business stakeholders will ensure success.  This role will be the eyes and ears working closely with the consultant teams on site and oversight of the design and construction process.  Through these projects you will set the foundation for the next 20 years in Levy project activity for the fire stations within the community.  If you are interested in having a huge impact to the community and have been looking for projects that have a social and environmental impact, while providing efficient and effective operations support to our Firefighters, this role is for you.
