Summary

This position will provide support functions to design engineer and project manager within the design division.

 



Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain digital construction plans record drawings.
  • Update and maintain design division and individual project SharePoint sites.
  • Develop and maintain construction bid tab unit cost tracking database.
  • Provide AutoCAD drafting and other design engineering support.
  • Gather field data such as such as photos, videos and other field measurements.
  • Develop meeting minutes, assist in public outreach tasks, and other administrative support.
  • Other tasks as required.

 

Qualifications

  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
  • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office required.
  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Interest in Civil Engineering/Transportation.
  • Willingness to work and desire to learn.

Definition of a Student Intern

  • Must be enrolled in a bona fide education program. Full time employees taking evening classes, those enrolled in one course, or those going to school periodically are not considered student interns.
  • During the school year must be scheduled to work 20 hours or fewer per week.
  • During special situations (i.e. specific internship programs through school) or during school breaks, can be scheduled to work more than 20 hours, up to full time, if appropriate.
  • Must be terminated as a student intern when no longer associated with an education program.
  • At-will for the duration of the student intern status.
