Summary

Incumbents perform a wide variety of clerical duties for the Operations Division of the Parks and Community Services Department such as: Reviewing and tabulating reports • Invoicing • Preparing and tracking documents• Word processing • Updating webpages • Typing • Filing • Data entry • Copying • Computer Skills •   Clerical/Administrative tasks


Hours of Work

This is an on-call position with a work schedule between 12 and 20 hours per week. Schedule will vary within the regular business hours of 6:30 am- 3:00 pm M-F.

 

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years increasingly responsible administrative experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer experience. (City computers use Microsoft Office Suite)

 

Working Conditions & Physical Activities

Work is generally performed in an office setting. Must be able to sit at a desk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
