The City of Issaquah has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a part-time Facilities Supervisor!  This person will supervise the Community Center, and be responsible for opening and closing the facility and ensuring proper procedures are followed.  We have long recognized parks and recreation as an integral part of the city and essential to the quality of life of its citizens.  If you are fun, responsible, self-motivated, and excited by the idea of wearing sweats and sneakers to work this is a great opportunity for you!

Qualified applicants must pass a criminal background check prior to hire.

Essential Functions
  • Ensures proper program procedures are followed, both with regard to safety and program guidelines.
  • Open and close facility and supervise the site throughout the work shift.
  • Set up and take down tables and chairs as required for various programming.
  • Perform custodial tasks as needed.

Graduation from high school (or GED) and experience working in recreation programs; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work weeknights, Saturdays and/or Sundays.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
