Development Services is a multi-department line of business that offers one-stop shopping for general information and the permits needed for development activity in Bellevue and the surrounding service areas.  We are code compliance officers, engineers, finance analysts, inspectors, planners, plans examiners, permit technicians, and support staff from the Development Services, Fire, Transportation, and Utilities departments. We also work closely with staff from other departments, like Community Development.
We are looking for an organized and detailed oriented Senior Budget Analyst to join our team which provides financial support services for the Development Services lines of business including review and inspection for Building, Land Use, Transportation, Fire, Utilities, Survey and Code Compliance.  In addition, the team provides financial services for the Community Development Department.  The position provides analysis and evaluation of the DS financial forecast, reserves analysis, rate models and cost of service studies.  You work with large amounts of data to prepare complex information and analysis. You'll have a key role in planning and assisting with the biennial budgets for Development Services and Community Development.
