Pee Wee Basketball Program Attendant - City of Kirkland ( Job # 19-0141)

Minimum Salary: $12.00 per hour
Maximum Salary: $15.40 per hour

Summary

Staff leads and officiates Pee Wee Basketball programs at city facilities, athletics fields, school gymnasium and/or off-site program locations. Pee Wee Basketball is for ages 3-6. Set up and break down equipment prior to and following games; maintain a clean, safe and orderly facility. Training provided. 

Up to 3 Pee Wee staff will be hired.


Paid training will be provided prior to the start of each season.

Hours of Work

The program runs Jan. 11-Feb. 22; Saturdays 8:30am-3pm for 6 consecutive weeks.

Pee Wee Basketball Site: Finn Hill Middle School Gymnasium

There is opportunity for more hours after the pee wee basketball season. We offer pee wee soccer, pee wee multi-sport and many summer sport camps.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Must be age 16 or older.  Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification by start date.  Applicants who are offered a position must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.

Preferred Qualifications

Officiating experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of the basic rules of basketball. Experience working with kids is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions & Physical Activities

Gymnasium (indoor) work which requires ability to run and keep alert in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Candidates who are selected to interview will be required to complete a criminal background check.
